Christmas Shopping with Local Toymakers

Christmas is in less than two weeks.

TWO WEEKS!

If you are like me, you might be a little panicked. I need to start buying Christmas presents in January, or I put it off and put it off. Then, no one gets anything.

Or maybe you are like my husband and you are finished, but you need that one last thing. Family Fun Twin Cities has some great suggestions for you. We have met some great local toymakers and have played with their many different toys. Here are some of our familys’ favorites.

We find these toyshops especially delightful. Trains for the train lovers, crafts for the artistic, eco-friendly for the environmentally-conscience and hip for the hipsters. Go and enjoy yourselves at any of these stores.

In our opinion, you can never go wrong with books as a gift. My daughter received 4 books for her birthday and couldn’t be happier. And while they may clutter your house, we feel they are a no-clutter gift. Fostering the love of reading is worth the clutter some books make.
